Sophomore Year
Sophomore year, I really got into our art classes. So here are some of my different art projects for the year.
Sorry about the colors... my mom took the picture for me since there back at home. The next photo shows better color but its crooked. Again sorry!
Junior Year Art
This here is some of my art for junior year.
This is a folder we made to keep our art work in.
A fun project we did using repetition.
A drawing we did using oil colored pencils.
Another repetition project we did. My teacher gave me a little lee-way with this project and I clearly had fun with it. One of my favorite drawings I have done!
Tweety-Bird is actually just a side project I did on my own at home.
Senior Year Art
Senior year in high school as you can see my art work has improved. By this time I was taking two advanced art classes, doing projects on my own. So here is some of my art from my senior year.
My final project. All ink drawing.
Watercolor and ink drawing, I did have a difficult time with this project because the watercolor just was not working with me. However, I am very pleased with how it turned out.
This project here was actually for my parents surprise 25th wedding anniversary party. The flowers are all hand made, and sprayed lightly with silver paint. Silver is the color for the 25th wedding anniversary. I used wires as the flowers stems and my parents actually loved them!
These drawings were done at a college trip for all the advanced students in the class. It was a great experience and I got to learn different approaches to drawing.
This project was probably my favorite. This is an elephant clay whistle, the first time our teacher experimented with them as well.
Another view of the whistle.
This was a thrown pot that I made my mother for mother's day. The quote on the vase says: We laugh. We cry. Time together flies by. Best friends are we. My mom and me.
